I need to ensure that I take into consideration individuals care plans, policies & procedure whilst providing a person centered approach, for example: A service user I assist with personal care has the process written in his care plan, if I or other members of staff do not comply with this, or he doesn’t wish to comply, we would need to speak with him, offer alternatives discuss the matter at a full staff team & if this impasse continued leading to a serious matter i.e. skin breakdown it may need to be raised further with C.T.A.L.D.
